Ordered this for our soon to be 3 year old boy because he loves dress up paper animals. This is set is way bigger than Iexpected! Its made of great thick quality wood pieces that are great for lil toddler hands. Wouldn't expect anything less from a Melissa & Doug toy product! Our son loves all the different types of outfits! Only thing I wish it had was a closeable case. It comes in a very nice wooden compartmental box but the lid is plastic and doesnt seal. Other than that I can not complain and give it 5 stars! Highly recommend! Will be ordering another!

Cute. Well made.my son has no interest in it yet. Hes almost 3. Wish it had a lid so we wouldnt lose the parts.

I usually love Melissa and Doug items. This one came with the ear of the face not glued securely. I shouldhave returned it right away but didn't want the hassle. I tried to glue it on my own. It didn't take long for the magnets of the hats and helmets to pull that away and half the boys face came off. I tried to glue it back but it's still in rough shape.<br />And that's with supervised play. Now all the edges are peeling. And why does it stink like fish?<br /><br />I'm wondering if we just got a bad quality one or if they all have trouble like this?

This was a gift to a young boy who loved it. Spent many hours playing with it-even experimented by putting the Friedman's hat on the policeMan,etc. Very happy .

My son really enjoys this set and the pieces are well made. I do not like that it did not come with a cover especially since the box is a great way to store the pieces.

Item came delivered quickly as promised. Quality is pretty good. Grandson wanted one like I bought for his sister. They have had fun with these and make a good car toy. I gave it one lower star because I feel like the value of cost for quality and item seems high. Buying in store I think it would've ranged about half the cost. But we wanted this toy so we opted the cost.

Cool dress up figure for boys. My son loves it. He wants to play with it once he dresses it up, note that the magnets are not strong enough to keep the clothes on while using him as an action figure.

I bought this for my three year old grandson for his birthday. I thought it would be a little something different from the typical present and it definitely was! He loves playing with this and we can create stories about the fireman, policeman, etc. I especially love having something for him to play with that's not electronic....good old-fashioned toy.
