It came broken I couldn't exchange it!

I was very happy with the quality of this coffee maker. It makes excellent coffee as well. Very satisfied with product.

I have a 15yr old plastic Coffee Joe that I use daily to brew one perfect large cup of coffee.Now I have a way to make coffee for a crowd, when it's safe to entertain again. The pour over method makes very good coffee. It's no muss and no fuss.

I have been making coffee in a Melitta pour over porcelain pot since 1968 while living in Germany. Every 10-15 years, I have to replace the pot . . . . that's what this purchase did. So, using Melitta for 52 years speaks for itself. BTW I now regularly use Gevalia Swedish ground coffee which I find to be excellent (House Blend, Traditional, and/or Columbia).

This is a beautiful porcelain pot, easy to use, easy to clean and makes the best coffee. HOWEVER, the coffee does not stay hot. Even with the burner on low or a notch above low. I'm reluctant to turn the burner any higher for fear of cracking the pot.

Simple is the best way I can describe this coffee brewer. I love that's it's made from porcelain because it's easy to clean. With a little dish soap and rinse takes care of any coffee residue. I have tried many varieties of coffee makers such as Percolaters, French Presses, electric coffee makers and other pour overs brewers and can honestly say that this one is special because it's so basic and simple. Coffee flavor aromas just erupt and the taste of my coffee is clean. No severe aftertaste, bitterness or the occasional flavor of the pot. All you taste is the flavor of the coffee. If you are considering this pot, I do recommend some accessories to make your coffee experience easier. Of course your going to need a kettle or something to get your water hot.But I also recommend a measuring spoon for the coffee and measuring cup for the water. What I have come to realize after drinking a lot of bad coffee in my lifetime from friends houses and even coffee houses is that some people don't take measuring the water and coffee grounds seriously. If you get this pot, measuring is key because getting the ratio to coffee and water is very important. To help, the most common ratio for any pre ground store bought coffee is 6oz H2O/2tbsp of coffee. That's why I recommend getting a 32oz Pyrex measuring cup. It holds scolding hot water and it's easy to see the numbers. Another suggestion I would make is getting a 2tbsp measuring spoon. This makes it easier measure and creates less mess than double scooping a one tbsp measuring spoon.On a side note, Store your coffee grounds in the fridge and use filtered water If possible.It's so easy, boil the water, place the filter in the cone with the measured coffee grounds, measure the water in the Pyrex and then start pouring the hot water over the grounds. Use a spoon lift the grounds a bit as you pour the water and make sure not To flood the cone.Trust me, I am coffee junkie. Not many coffee shops will be able to compete with this simple set up.

I have been using pour over glass products for several years. I have broken at least 3 in a year. This set seems to be far sturdier.Far less likely to shatter if I tap it on the edge of the sink or stone counter.

The top us strong and fits nicely also in older pitchers but the bottom is very frgil. In fact we broke it twice without abusing it.

As good if not better than the one from 25 years ago it replaced.

Great fan of the product. Use it every day.

I really like this coffee maker, because it is easy to use.The shape and color are great!

Flaw in the glaze, but still works fine.
