Mission: Meningioma Mommas is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization, which provides support and valuable resources to all those affected by meningioma brain tumors. We are dedicated to raising meningioma awareness and funding for meningioma specific research.

We are committed to funding ONLY meningioma specific research. We have donated $410,000 to fund research supporting Dr. Elizabeth Claus (YALE), Dr. Michael McDermott (UCSF), Dr. Gregory Riggins & Dr. Gilson Baia (JOHNS HOPKINS), Dr. John Lee (UPENN), Dr. Daniel Kelly & Dr. Garni Barkhoudarian (John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John’s Health Center), Dr. Randy Jensen (University of Utah) & Dr. Long-Sheng Chang (Ohio State Univ. ), Dr. Albert Kim (Washington University in St. Louis), Dr. Nader Sanai at the Barrow Neurological Institute, Dr. Robert Martuza and Dr. Hiroaki Wakimoto (HARVARD UNIVERSITY, MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL HOSPITAL), Dr. Melanie Hayden Gephart at Stanford University, University of Colorado and NYU Medical Center. We’ve lost too many second family members and need a cure.
Target demographics: fund meningioma research for the most common primary brain tumor.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 5,000 members and caregivers.
