Mission: Founded in 1999, Mercy For Animals exists to end one of the greatest causes of suffering on the planet: the exploitation of animals for food, in particular, industrial animal agriculture, aquaculture, and fishing.

MFA is dedicated to eradicating this cruel food system and replacing it with one that is not just kind to animals but essential for the future of our planet and all who share it, through proactive consumer education initiatives, cruelty investigations, corporate outreach, and legal advocacy.

Mercy For Animals is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 2004, and donations are tax-deductible.
