We have this in our bedroom in case we cannot get out of the house through the front door. It is easily to store but it will save lives if you need to escape from your upstairs rooms. Keep it on the room you are most likely to be able to get out under any circumstance. We have it in the farthest rom from the kitchen.

This is a great ladder to have incase of a fire. It seems like it's very safe to throw down from an upper window to help everyone get out safely not a bad price either! I would recommend all households that have more than one floor to have one! I'd like to get one for every room in our upstairs as I wished they had a deal on them like buy one get one half off or something Lol. But I do plan to purchase more in the future.

Seems sturdy and light. Hopefully, I'll never need to test that.

Purchased for my rental unit. It's a great safety item to have on hand with the hopes that we never have to actually use it

It twists around a lot. I think it should be a little easier to use since it's an item that would have to be used in an emergency.

It's better to have this escape ladder and never need it - than to need it and not have it. How much is your loved one's safety worth? The answer to that question makes it easy to select BUY NOW.

This ladder is easy to place, release, and wind back up. It has a strap to hold and store the steps. It also folds and collapses for easy storage

We had an older fire ladder in a previous house and replaced it with this very lightweight, but sturdy deployable fire ladder. The top fits over a window sill or balcony railing. The steps deploy quickly with a Velcro pull strap. But also easy to re-stow after practice climb.

I am in a second level apartment and in case of fire or earthquake, I practice to throw it over the balcony and I know it will work perfect. I been looking for this for years!! I hope I will never have to use it, but just in case... hahaha

If you are in a second story house, you really should have one of these in each bedroom. Stay safe and be prepared. The only thing is there is no way to test it out or have the kids learn how to use it and practice. It's not meant to be used and then put back away for when you really need it. Totally get why they do it that way, someone will put it away wrong and then it will be useless in the emergency.
