Our bedrooms are on the second floor of our home. If a fire breaks out in the middle of the night and blocks the stairway we would have no way out except for jumping out a window that is directly over a concrete patio. Hopefully, we will never have to use this fire escape ladder, but as some pilots have said, it is better to have a parachute and never need it than need the parachute and not have it.

It is good quality. I wouldn't want to live in an upstairs bedroom with only one stairway without something like this. Could save your life being able to escape out of a window.

I bought this ladder after my cousin’s home caught fire. She had a two story home too. We’re fortunate that no one was in the home at the time of the fire. With that being said, i ordered this ladder immediately! I hope we never need it but I’m glad to have a plan in place for the unexpected.

This ladder is well built, light enough to easily put on window sill and seems very sturdy. Kiddie is a great name in home safety products. I just hope I never need it!

Hope it stays unused for ever. Good to know there is one ready to deploy for our 2nd floor bedroom.

You never know when or if you will need something like this. This ladder was lightweight, easy to get in place in the event of an emergency.

This worked perfect for us. Easily stored under the bed and is the perfect length from our second floor master is we ever need it.

Perfect for our condo

Unfortunately due to an accident my arms are very weak and I suffer from neck and back problems. This project is a lot lot a lot heavier than I expected! Obviously it's 30 but not easy to maneuver because of its weight. Worried that my sons won't be able to lift it to hang it on the window

Here's my honest review..I haven't used it yet, and that's a blessing because that means I haven't had a house fire!The product in the box is durable and I can count on the product getting my child to safety. My parents had one for us when I was a child. This is a must have in any dwelling that has more than a ground floor! This product could mean the difference between life and death. You should never question whether or not this product is worth it! What if the adults in the house can reach safety going out of a door, but the children are trapped by flames and cannot exit without going out a window? It most certainly is worth having one of these! Accidents happen every day and sometimes just having something like this adds comfort. I'm planning on doing a drill with my children (ages 12 9), and having them practice how to escape fire or any emergency above the ground floor. I will have them install this to the window under supervision, until I feel they're comfortable reaching safety on their own. Practice makes perfect. I hope no one ever has to utilize one of these because of a fire or an emergency.Possessions are replaceable.your loved ones and pets are not.
