I've been pleased with my other Black Decker battery operated tools, got this because the batteries are all interchangeable. It's a great size handles all my projects easily. It makes life easier.

Was using the thinnest drill bit to drill hole into a wooden piece, suddenly it just broke. Horrible experience will have to buy other drill bits now Very inferior quality

however I can still easily handle this drill! I use it mostly to drill holes in shells for art projects, and it works very well. I wish it came with even smaller bits. Had to buy a smaller one at Home Depot, but, overall, it does come with a good assortment of bits and screwdriver heads. I was able to start drilling right out of the box, too. After a few shells I charged it, and it hasn't run out of power since!

I'm a dinosauer and this is the first cordless drill that I have ever used. WOW! I put together a bookcase yesterday and can't believe how much time I saved just when changing from drill to driver bits. Didn't need a key to change bits. This thing is fantastic! I'll never go back to the electric drill again.

Received product not in its normal box and without instructions. The bits were in a ripped bag (obviously had been opened and used). On top of that, when I press the button to turn the drill on, it sparks! Ordering a replacement and will change my review if it's not used/defective.Got my replacement and it came in an unopened box with instructions. Also found out it's normal for a drill to spark if it has a certain type of motor. Overall happy with the product and will be keeping it!

It's a typical drill. We bought it because the battery can also be used with our trimmer. Seems to be solid to far.
