If you buy this I would buy a different spout. This one doesn't work well at all. Other safety spouts I've had no problem with but this one is annoying.

I needed a can to mix 2-stroke oil and gas for my motorized bike. The safety spout if a little tedious to operate, but all in all the can works great for me and looks like it will last for a good long time.

It's a typical small gas container, which is fine until you have to fight with the safety nonsense incorporated into the spout. The trick is: the spout pushes into itself, like it's telescopic. It does have a screen to keep junk out, but it doesn't have a separate vent, which would have been better.

Not much to say about this gas can. It works as expected and I haven't had any issues with the spout. It doesn't leak or vent fumes. Sized perfectly for a lawnmower and stores easily.Not a risky purchase. If I need another can, I will buy this one again!

Safety nozzle was weird. Had to look up how it worked on YouTube. Great for cars etc. Not so much for lawnmowers etc which is why I bought it. Not a huge deal. More frustrating initially than anything

I bought four of these. They arrived today. The can itself is well made. The spout will seal properly - NO SPILLING - if the rubber gasket seats properly during the spout installation. The red safety locking lever on the spout requires some pressure to be pressed down AT FIRST - but will loosen up after a few presses. Some other buyers suggested its removal, and if you do that, the spring inside the spout can still seal properly without this locking device (At first, I took one star off for lacking some simple instructions, but decided to add it back for its MADE IN The US of A :)
