Impossible to fill can with filter tube inserted in can, rip it out for your sanity.

These are so much better than what you can purchase at Walmart or Home Depot or Lowe’sVery well-made, and the spout is much easier to use than what you can purchase on other cansI exchanged out the spout anyway, and installed a vent to make pouring easier

This gas can has great potential. The shape is nearly a cube, so the center of gravity is low and it will not easily turn over and spill on the way home from the gas station. Unfortunately, it has the terrible EPA CARB spout. This spout is nearly unusable and makes the gas can a PITA. Fortunately, there are replacement spouts you can buy and some come with a vent valve. The last dangerous feature is the so called flame arrestor which is a plastic screen placed inside the can opening that guarantees you will overflow the can if you fill it too quickly. When I filled up my can, it easily held 5 gallons with space at the top.

I purchased two of these cans and both of them leaked terribly. I'm not talking about a drop or two, I mean like pouring fluid out of a cup on to the floor. I had gas all over my garage floor and my shoes. One can leaked profusely from the difficult to use spout ( the spring is way too tight and makes it difficult to keep open) and the other can leaked terribly out of the top opening of the actual can. Horrible product!

The one thing that has been wrong with all of my old 5 gallon gas cans through the years was the ability to handle them easily when trying to lift them up to put gas in something, All of them only had a handle on the top of the can and nowhere else to get a good hold to lift up the bottom or back of the can to tilt it so the gas could come out.Well after years and even decades I finally found a gas can that is easy to use and lift properly so I bought four of them.

I love it, but I can't get all the gas out of the container. No matter what angle I use while on the gas tank, I still have some gas in it. Otherwise I am glad I purchased it.

Not sure if this is important?? The cans only hold 4.25 gallons of gas\kerosene or whatever you put in them. And that is filled right to the very edge of the pour\filling spout. The amount of fuel the tanks hold really isn't much of an issue. Also the pressed in screen\flash fire protector doesn't allow the tanks to be filled well at all. The screen is so small the fuel flow into the tank is way smaller then the fuel exiting a gas pump even squeezed down to very low. I removed them and now have a tank I can use. The pour spout as reviewed in other reviews is terrible design, it leaks fuel. I purchased another pour spout to upgrade the tanks to a better system.

Good container, but had to do a little dis-mantel ling, for it to work properly. Pulled the safety spout off for a better pour.

What I really like, it the spout is removable for storage, separate cap. Had a can that the spout was always sticking out, it was also the cap. It was nothing but a big lever waiting to break the nut at the base of the spout. I will never buy another can with the spout forever sticking out. The handle on the back is nice too.
