I had two pairs of over-the-shoe spikes fall apart during a single session of installing a resin floor. The $20/pair flats were dreadful. I had the cheapest shoes lose screws, washers, and nuts. I spent more time looking for pieces in my new resin, picking out shoe parts, and cleaning up my extra tools (long tweezers for removing washers from thickening resin) than I did spreading the new floor. Each shoe (x4) lost at least 6 nuts and washers. Two shoes broke!This fine pair has been used 8 times and they are still looking new. Do not waste your time or money for a cheap pair. I have two more washers that were missed in the original pour. I will not get them out. These shoes have given me joy in doing floors because they work, don't fall apart, and are so easy to clean up.

My favorite spike shoes for resinous flooring installation, it's not even a competition. I don't have to readjust straps( that usually get ruined by epoxy anyway) for different boots and shoes and I can very easily kick them on and off when needed.You might see the price tag vs cheap strap on ones and go the cheaper route but as long as you treat these ones right they're well worth the small investment.

FORGET the cheaper cleats. These fit right over your everyday shoes! Ordered the Large and they fit well with 10EEE shoes. Worked well on the floors. No mess. No falls (and the floors ARE slippery when you are walking on them) Avoid accidents and messing up your project - BUY QUALITY!!

Vastly superior to the nylon strap / flat soled clip-on type which are worse than single use, they'll actively sabotage your epoxy floor job.These are great, just kick your feet in them and clomp away. Nice, long narrow spikes which aren't really pointed, they just taper to a long, narrow, rounded end. Epoxy can be easily pinched/twisted off the spikes with pliers after it's cured These will essentially last forever. Well designed with appropriate number of spikes to support weight, flexible enough to be useful, and use large fender washers so the rubber soles don't get torn or worn out. I've used the same two sets for a couple years. Nothing bad to say about these, no design improvements either. Bought replacement spikes but may never use them since they can be cleaned with pliers.

I'm a DYI guy, never saw these in person. Assumed they were like crocks with spikes. As you can see from the images they are huge! They slip on over my bulkiest work boots as well as my slim running shoes -hold GREAT in both conditions. I am a 9.5-10 men's size shoe. I bought the large. They are perfect. Bought for a strange painting project... I kinda want to try them next snow storm for shoveling!

We used to buy the installers grass spikes with velcro..and one day we bought these instead..the crew will never let me go back to the old style. These save time and energy and make life easier when things must go quickly and smoothly.
