Programs: To administer the usda child and adult care food program in 590 day care homes and 64 child care centers. These midwest facilities cared for approximately 9,060 low-income children and provided 4,368,924 usda qualifying meals. Trained approximately 799 individuals at their business sites and in group settings on various topics including nutrition, child development, and business. The usda program is supported by program service revenue identified above and a $799,923 grant, the purpose of which is to cover administrative expenses of this program.

to recruit and train 24 child care professionals to provide respite care for 44 air force and navy families in nebraska with a special needs family member under a grant from the usaf exceptional family members program. This program is supported by a grant of $38,350.

to train 420 individuals in nutrition, child development and best child care business practices.
