I bought this Utility Pan for my small dog to drink and splash in. He kept putting his feet in his regular water bowl and splashing water all over the floor, so I got him this for a better size and sturdiness. He still gets a little water on the floor but not as much as before. So overall I would say it is working out well for him.

I fill this pan with water to feed the animals in my yard. This utility pail works much better than the metal pans I used to use which rusted after awhile. It is easy to clean and holds an adequate amount of water. Exactly what I was looking for! Recommended.

I can lift a 50lb flower pot (with a tree growing in it!) by holding the ridge on the edge of the tray. No need to grab the whole pot to lift it.

I bought this and another metal pan to compare for putting a small solar fountain into for the birds, but I think it's a little too deep for the birds. However, it's depth and width is very good for the fountain, so I'll probably use this one for water for the forest critters during the current drought. But I took off a star for the adhesive label that was pasted and stuck to the inside bottom. They should have either used a different adhesive or put it on the underside. It was a laborious effort to remove the large sticker. I had to use water, then Goo Gone, then soap and water, then soak it in soap, vinegar, baking soda and water to be sure I removed all the oil from the Goo Gone. Too much work and effort! Otherwise, it's a great pan for watering the forest critters.

I've bought 4 of these now, as we use them for a duck waterer and chicken feeder. We feed our chicken fermented feed and this works perfect for it. The one complaint I have is that they stick the label on the inside of the tray, removing it is difficult. Would be much nicer if the label was on the outside of the tray.

This is the third one we have for water for our ducks. Living in Arizona, these things are exposed to a lot of sunshine and heat and year and year they continue to hold up. Easy to clean, sturdy, and worth the money.My only complaint is the sticker on the inside - it's not easy to remove without chemicals or a razor blade.

I used these to plant some large sized water lotus tubers, which I then submurged into my pond. The tubers seem happy, and no fish have died from anything the pots are made of and might have leached into the water. They also held up well to being lifted while full of mud, plants, and water.

arrived quickly and safely. have a few around the yard for water dishes. my own fault that i cracked the lip of one this winter, trying to break ice. otherwise they last and last. i've read complaints about the inside labels. yes, bad place and hard to remove, but i just leave them there....
