Well-made and I like the convenience of having a gauge on the chuck, reminds me of the one I used to use back in the 70s at the gas station I worked at

I used this professionally and when I retired i got a new one for my own use. There is nothing any cheaper that's better or even close. I believe there is a rebuild kit or at least a replacement spring if I am not mistaken. This is professional grade and is a nice Father's Day gift. Quality tool.

I purchased this tire inflator/ gage to replace a cheap Chinese knock off. This Milton gage is so much easier to use. Much more accurate and quicker. Just the fact as this ages you can calibrate to keep the accuracy. Buy it for life

I don't know why I didn't get one of these sooner. I've just been doing the old stick gauge, then swap out for the air chuck to air up, then check the pressure again by swapping around, etc.Something like this makes so much sense... just one thing hooked to your valve. See what the pressure is and if you need more, just a little goose on the handle, check the pressure again, etc. It seriously makes filling the tire so much faster, and more accurate. Before, it was such a pain I'd just get it close enough and call it good, but with this I got my truck tires up to 65 on the nose, just because it was so easy to be that exact. The long reach, and double-end, of the chuck was also great for getting to my dually valves. I had struggles with those before... my old chuck was dual-headed but my gauge wasn't. I had a tiny digital gauge I could get in there, but it was kind of a knuckle buster. This makes it easy.As far as accuracy, it seemed to correlate just fine with my stick gauge. My digital gauge was also pretty close, but if I had to guess, I'd say this one was probably more accurate and it was the digital one that was off by a PSI here or there. Either way, close enough, when all of my gauges seemed to agree with each other within /- a PSI or two at the 65 PSI range.I think you pay a little more for the Milton brand, but from what I read in the reviews of similar models from other vendors, I think it's worth it. I did take a little time to scrape off some metal ridges where the air hose passes through that hole in the frame of this, where the gauge is. I read some other reviews where people had done that just to make sure the hose didn't get poked, but other than that, solid quality, and honestly I didn't think it really would have done any damage.

Milton is the king of tire pressure fill gauges. They have been around for decades. I remember as a kid using my grandfather's Milton tire pressure gauge in the garage. He had that and then my father had it for years and years. In my opinion they are the best gauges on the market. You can't go wrong with a Milton tire pressure gauge.
