I use this with the smaller M18 batteries. I have 2. I lug this around with my electric chainsaw. Cut anything over 4 with the chainsaw, and everything else, I wack with this beauty. Easy peasy. When both batteries run out, I've personally run out of gas. Great tool. Highly recommend
