Mission: Mineral community hospital provides quality healthcare services regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, handicap, age or ability to pay. Although reimbursement for services rendered is critical to the operation of the hospital, it is recognized that not all individuals possess the ability to purchase essential medical services and further that their mission is to serve the community with respect to providing healthcare services and education.

Programs: Mineral community hospital is comprised of a 25-bed acute care hospital and an 11-room assisted living facility which provides healthcare services. The hospital provided 5,988 days of patient services and the assisted living facility provided 970 days of resident services for the year. The hospital provides care to persons covered by governmental programs at below cost and to individuals who are unable to pay. The unreimbursed value of providing care to these patients was 92,697 for charity care, 346,890 for medicaid, 168,117 for medicare, and 469,861 for other third party payors for the year.
