My little boy he is a genius. He had a electronic kit for kids he did it over 250 projects in 3 days and I decide to buy something more difficult. The instructions are not in paper need to download to the computer. At this point we can't do one projectNeed to use the computer and on the web site can't find the project for that kit. I don't recommended for kids.

Absolutely love this kit!!Just one problem: All the bread-board jumper wires had shorts in them. I couldn't find even one that kept a steady current. It took me a while to figure out what the problem was. I ended up having to toss all of them and purchase others separately.

I'll start off by saying the tutorial wasn't the best. It does give a lot of information about the components included, and it does a good job of showing how to connect things, but as far as the programming, that leaves a lot to be desired. While it does explain a little about the program examples, it really doesn't dive into the code and what it is really doing. Having been critical of the tutorial, I would still say this is an excellent kit to learn some electronics and programming. It includes a ton of parts and the Arduino Mega compatible, a really nice board, everything so far in the kit has been good quality. for the price you get everything you need to start learning how to make projects and program some really neat things. I got it mainly to learn Arduino so I can integrate it into my model railroad. So get this kit, do a little research online and you will learn how to make some really neat projects.

Bought this when my 11 year old granddaughter seems to enjoy her coding class and 9 year old grandson loved his robotics camp time. It helps that I have coded myself, including C and other similar languages, since the Arduino language is similar. In any event, both of them were able to play with the code on my laptop and make things behave differently. They both want to do the next projects, which given their phone addiction, is really saying something. It's fun for the adults working with them as well.

I purchased this kit for myself around a month ago and couldn't get it to connect to my Windows 10 Laptop. Tried multiple times to no avail. I ended up digging up my old Galaxy Note 8 and connected it USB-C- USB via a OTG adapter still nothing. A month later I finally got around to buying a different USB Printer cord, and viola it finally connected with my Note 8. The lessons in the tutorial are easy enough for anyone who can read them to build and code the 33 included libraries. Haven't tried it on Windows 10 yet, being my computer has USB 3.1 plugs it might take some trial and error.
