This is a replacement for a royal blue one which I have had for years and just started to rip. I wanted the bright red one for easy spotting in my backpack and suitcase, but was randomly sent a gray one. The red is out of stock, I was told. That aside, this bag is superior to my old one; having all sections with zippers is definitely an improvement from the velcro closure. I will keep my eye out for a red or yellow ones for a future purchase to use for my electronic cords and chargers, and for first aid. This one will be for toiletries.

Love these things! Have 4 now--one for my travel toiletry kit and three for backpacking and camping: first aid kit; one for small stuff like cordage, batteries, repair tape, etc.; and one for the camp 34;kitchen34;.

Bought this for backpacking to organize my miscellaneous gear - amazingly light compared to comparable organizers from Outdoor Research and Montbell. Very high quality for a very reasonable cost. Well done Equinox!

I have 4 of these bad boys. They weigh nothing and I can cram a ton of junk in it. I use one for my first aid kit, one as a firestarting kit, and one for toiletries in my backpacking rig. Ladies look no further for your makeup EDC. Before the Monarch getting lipstick out was like a mini quest for the holy grail. I'd send my hand off into a dimensional rift, searching high and low in every pocket and crevasse. All the while trying to survive random encounters with sharp granola crumbs that try to wedge themselves under my nails. Finally dumping all the contents out and realizing the lipstick was in my other purse. I've used the bag everyday for 3 years and it's still going strong. If some calamity befalls my baby I'd promptly purchase another one.
