Causes: Human Services

Mission: To provide basic financial life-skill education with continuing support for low-income and offender individuals, including their families, in a faith- based christian environment.

Results: In the past 9 months (Nov 1,2020 to July 31,2021) donations to Moneytalk have supported:- $47,982 (retail value) in repairs to ensure clients have reliable transportation to work, doctor's appointments, grocery store, school, and so on- $2,286 in grocery assistance through gift cards and purchasing grocery items for clients- $2,157 in health related assistance including medical appointment co-pays and prescriptions- $9,575 in housing assistance including rent, utilities, and moving assistance- $1,008 in pet assistance including adoption fees for an emotional support animal, supplies needed for a new pet, food, and treats for a veteran (international guard) suffering from PTSD. The majority of individuals and families supported have an annual income less than $25,000 per year and are single parents.

Programs: The purpose of this organization is to provide financial life-skill education and continuing support programs, in a faith-based christian environment, to low-income individuals, youths, and ex-offenders or soon- to-be ex-offenders who are on probation and/or parole, and their families, in order to help move them from aid and/or government assistance, to self- sufficiency.
