Causes: Animals

Mission:
Morris Animal Foundation bridges science and resources to advance the health of animals.

Target demographics: dogs, cats, horses and wildlife

Geographic areas served: Denver, Colorado and fund institutions around the world

Programs: Fund studies to provide animals with life-saving vaccines, new treatments for critical diseases, superior screening tests, and advanced diagnostic tools. We respond to emerging animal health threats that endanger entire species, and make new discoveries in basic animal biology to support applied research. We also conduct and manage our own study, the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study. This groundbreaking research follows 3,000+ dogs throughout their lifetime, collecting annual data and samples to help identify the environmental, genetic and nutritional risk factors for cancer and other diseases in dogs.
