To replace my previous stand would have cost twice the price. This is my first Christmas to use this one. I like the separate switches for the rotation and the lights. I also have a tree skirt that completely covers the stand and rotates with it. My tree is 7.5 feet tall with 1.25 inch trunk.

Love this stand..! It shows off all my ornaments that have special meanings and memories beautifully! I had the same stand before that lasted 12 years,so I'm hoping that this one lasts as long.

Just want to say this organization has GREAT! customer service. I had an issue with my order and they were called me within an hour of posting. Everyone I spoke to was extremely friendly. In regards to the product. We have owned this Christmas tree stand in the past. It is is a very sturdy stand and lasted in our families Christmas celibrations for over 10 years.

I've owned this product since 1996! And loved it every Christmas. But sadly even after deep down cleaning and greasing its finally giving up the ghost. It still turns but the brass bushings and brass race tracks that carry the AC to the outlets are not making continues contact any more due to wear. So its time for a new one. I hope the manufacturing standards my old one was built to are still in effect.

We've yet to find one that is flawless, but this one is suitable. The only thing we've discovered is that it tends to make a rather annoying grinding/creaking/squeeking sound (some may find it subtle, we don't) and from time to time the rotating motion jerks suddenly, and as others have reported, it can and tends to quite often switch clockwise/to/counter clockwise (which we don't mind), but we highly suggest a rotating stand for your artificial tree because it's not only calming but it lovely to have the chance to see all the ornaments we've purchased over the years (and not tend to hide the "uglier" ones at the back as we did yearly as kids).

Loved this item for a whole week till it broke. I didn't return it right away because I wasn't going to take my whole tree apart to return the base. But it does rotate. I don't know why mine broke a week after I put up my tree, but the seller refunded my money without a hassle so that was good.
