it is what you need to get rid of water in line . make sure you get extra filter so your ready if needed.

Bought for a plasma cutter. Installed after the oil/water filter and desiccant canister. It's pretty big to be flopping around on the end of my dedicated plasma cutter supply lines.

The functionality of this air filter is five stars easily and that is by far the most important metric for my rating from me. There are two significant negatives which is why it only gets four stars. First there is no mounting hardware so you will have to fabricate your own mount or just lay it down. Second the filter cartridges are very expensive. All in all though I use this for the air supply to my CNC plasma table and it does a great job providing clean and most importantly dry air so it still gets four stars.

It's says Max Pressure 125PSI but this leaks with much less pressure.

All parts and assembles were correct and in excellent shape when they arrived

This thing is a tank! Durable and looks as if it'll last a lifetime..the filter is similar to a roll of bathroom tissue. As it's put to use, a quick unwrap or 2 and you're good to go. Also keep in mind It's NOT a moisture trap, it's a particle filter.

As basic as this air line filter is it is hands down the best filter I have ever owned and ive had particulate water filters that were over a $100 a piece.Even if you have filters this is a great final filter to catch anything that sneaks by your other filters.

Easy to use, Only thing I don't like is that the unit wasn't sealed, so the filter element is pre-contaminated. Its been drawing moisture from the time of packaging.

Excellent air drying - a must have for plasma cutting. Will pay for itself with extended consumable life.

Thie is a very cost effective solution to getting the last bit of water particles out of your air supply and filtering smaller micron sized particles from the air supply before reaching the tool after passing through a regular particulate filter and air dryer. If you really want the most driest cleanest air to paint or anytging that requires clean air this at the end of your dryer and filter system is a good idea to make sure any last bit of moisture is removed and tiniest particles are filtered out from getting into your tool and on to your project.It's made from aluminum though so if the filter gets enough moisture in it the inside of the aluminum body of the filter will start corroding. To prevent this from happening I remove the filter roll out of it after each use when I am done using it and put have it hanging some way in a warm dry area so it dries and i keep the filter body seperated tonlet any moisture in it evaporate out. so far it has worked great that way just is not as convenient as just being able to leave it as it is after done working for the day so i just do it at the end of the day when im done using it when i clean up.

I have to give this 5-stars. It really is excellent and does an excellent job. I also have 2 m-30's, and can't get them to stop leaking. Even my replacement leaked. I say this because they're identical (even the filter element) other than where the hookups are and the size of them. They clearly have a manufacturing issue on the line that makes the m-30, likely with the porosity or the machining of the surfaces. I will reiterate though that this has not affected the M-60, which I'm specifically reviewing here. I just felt compelled to mention it because they're virtually the same.
