Taste was not bad, a little salty. Make sure you let them sit after you stir them. First bag used the recommended amount of water and let them sit the recommended time. The sausage was a little rubbery. 2nd use i added about 1/3 cup more water, stirred let stand, stirred again and let stand. stirred once again and let stand 3 more minutes. Gravy and biscuits were fine and the sausage was NOT rubbery. You have to experiment on your own for your preferences.

Wasn't sure what to expect from biscuits and gravy in a freeze dried meal. But, thought I'd give it a try.It tastes great, honestly. The texture is a bit odd, but after a few bites you get used to it. The biscuits are little chunks, but the meat and gravy is about what you'd expect.I actually had this as a lighter dinner, instead of as a breakfast. But it was filling and delicious. Had just the right amount of seasoning, didn't need to add anything to it.

I tried this Mountain House meal and I liked it! It's not perfect though as it may come out soupy; depending on your tastes, you may need to use a little less water and/or let it sit longer.Lucky for us, that's the only complaint about this product. Mountain House Biscuits Gravy is worth buying!!

I'm pleasantly surprised at how much food was in the package and how good it tasted. My only complaint is that the sausage is a bit chewier than fresh cooked sausage and the biscuit was a little crunchy. But that could have been a user error on my part . I will definitely be buying again.

This is a good choice if you're looking for a freeze-dried breakfast meal. There are plenty of biscuit and sausage pieces within the gravy and they all taste good. There is some pepper seasoning throughout but some may want to add hot sauce, more pepper, etc. to spice it up a bit.Keep in mind that it is on the richer/heavier side so keep that in mind for hiking/camping. I sometimes eat this for dinner as it is quite heavy for me.
