The taste is pretty good. Add hot water, zip the pouch, and let it sit for 10 minutes. Everything reconstitutes for the most part. The issue I have is the price of all of Mountain House meals. Who can afford to buy these things? Not cool to gouge the customers who made your brand what it is. Not going to purchase, until the prices are dropped.

Biscuits and gravy was the first mountain house I had tried and it came as a recommendation from my brother. It is definitely one of my favorites for breakfast. It is easy to make and easy to take with you places. My brother and his family use this when they are camping. I like to use them when I go to races and were staying in a motorhome or hotel.

The flavor was good, and miraculously the biscuit pieces weren’t soggy, but we needed more water to make it just the right consistency, and we added another biscuit we bought in a drive through to make it more filling.

I really enjoyed this Biscuits and Gravy as easy morning breakfast camping food to fuel the aerobic activities of the next hours. I ended up having a few not-fully-hydrated chunks, like others have stated, but I'm leaning on that being that I gently stirred the package instead of really trying to 'mix' and stir the package the two (IIRC) times the instructions said to stir it. I'm thinking that by 'stir' it means 'mix' which would break up and open up the biscuits to being better hydrated. Perhaps allowing an extra two minutes of soaking before serving would have helped as well (or instead).Anyway, yes - I will buy it again to try it another time (that's how tasty it was to have in the morning).

The flavor is almost like homemade! The consistency is perfect. The amount is great for 2-3 people. My favorite of all Mountain House foods!

Okay is this homemade biscuits and gravy? Obviously not. Is this camping on a weekend or hiking or Post apocalyptic biscuits and gravy? Abso-freaking-lutely!!! Just add boiling water and enjoy! I really do enjoy most mountain house meals!

This is great to throw in my locker in case I want a hot meal during my 16 hour shifts. Package doesn't take up a lot of room. Taste great.

Followed instructions, biscuits were a bit too crunchy. Next time I will add a bit more water at the end and let it sit longer. Flavor was on point though!

I never in a million years would have thought what I used to call powered food would be so delicious. Besides real homemade biscuit and gravy these are my favorite. I just recommend letting it sit longer than they recommend so that the sausage gets tender.
