Bought it for my friend who's trailer burned down awhile ago. Got a new place and thought I would help him out with some heat so he don't freeze in this cold ass weather! Don't need someone to turn into an ice cube. Hahahaha!

Here in New England, the weather can be unpredictable. Last year we had a bad storm that left power out all over the area and conditions were unsafe. For over 24 hours we were without power in February. We humans managed with blankets and coats, etcbut unfortunately a few of our geckos died. despite hours of trying and all sorts of effort to prevent it, it was out of our control.I bought this heater immediately after. The small propane tanks it needs I got wal mart (think it was 2 for $12) and I got a couple tiny desk fans that take batteries. They were inexpensive and now we have everything needed for our animals (and ourselves) if the power goes out for any reason. 100 reccomend for reptile owners! It's one of those things you think is it a waste of money, how much will I really need it, but I promise if and when you do need it you'll be so glad you did!

Used indoors in an RV I seem to get a slight headache after just a few minutes. Perhaps burning propane and I don't get along so well.

I love it. It heats the area I needed. Easy to run. I can heat half my small house with it. And it is safe to use inside. No CO2 at all. I have a meter to check it. And it is 0. Very happy with it!!

I bought it for emergency heat inside, but found out it is great to heat up the bathroom. Our electric heat pump is terrible when it gets below 40 degrees outside.. Outlawing gas heat in new homes is stupid. This really heats up my bathroom quickly.

Easy to use right out the box. Next step is to get a heat activated fan to move the heat. I'm impressed by how long it can go on 1lbs of propane at the low setting which lasted more than 6hrs you'll have to adjust it lower than the low setting. Used it for personal heating at 30 to 50 at low setting in an open garage, its quite comfortable. It would warm up a good size single car garage if its closed off.

I am occasionally unable to leave my home due to snow. I purchased the Buddy heater to have when power goes out and leaves me stranded. The heater is simple to set up and use. (Just be sure the knob is all the way to the stop position when turning the heater off or you'll waste precious propane. )It puts out a comfortable soft heat not a blistering harsh heat as do some heatersI liked mine so much I bought the larger one as a Christmas gift for some friends. They too are loving their heater. They are certified indoor safe and will turn off if tipped over. This is important with kids and pets. Beware! The dog or cat may stake claim on the floor in front of it.With my two burner camp stove and lanterns in every room in my home and my emergency heater I'm snug and smug!
