I have the middle Mr. Buddy and now I have the little buddy. I must say this little guy is darn near as good as it's older brother. Wonder what the big buddy would do if I buy another one that's the one. I'll get great products

Works well, but it broke after 4 months of use.

I used this on top of a propane tree attached to a 5lb tank inside my tent. I only used one tree segment, so it was about 3 feet off the ground. It lasted for 3 full nights and made sleeping in the freezing desert not so bad.

Works great in my hunting blind. Very quiet and lots of heat for its size.

Worked great in the deer stand today.

Ordered this for our tent since the wife made me because toughening the children in the cold like the vikings did is apparently unacceptable nowadays.Anyways jokes aside it stayed plenty warm, not gonna heat it super hot like a house heater but enough to keep it warm. The wife says she is never camping in the snow again so this will be a good heater for my van conversion I am doing.

Keeps my 4x4 enclosed hunting blind comfortable during deer hunting with temps 0-20 degrees out. 16 oz bottle lasts 4-6 hours depending on low or high setting.

I have had the Big Buddy for years and am satisfied with it. I wanted this small one as a back up and to use in smaller spaces. It works very well so far.

It works probably better than I expected meaning it keeps a nice temperature in a larger space for a longer time than estimated IMO.Where it says HOT it will burn you- So heed the warning- I did get burned... Your mother told you the stove was hot... I guess I never listened.The base works for what it is..... How would I design a better one? It is the BASE . Sturdy Lame Plastic...It stays in place, meaning falls off, when you lift the heater and tank up. I kind of like that it is annoying. It makes me be mindful when this is lit or not it is a potentially dangerous device... What's that noise... Oh, the ! base fell off.... It is not a defect it is a feature.Finally, if you go this way: I got myself a 20 lb tank and adapter and refill those 1lb bottles... as cost efficient.There are other solutions out there, however, as a portable mobile, as needed, if needed solution this works great for me. I Highly recommend the product and hope it meets your expectations as well.

I'm impressed at the amount of heat produced. Easy to start and shut down. Very clean burning and easily heats the area described on the box. The safety features are paramount to me. I have other Mr. Heater products and all work as advertised. Highly recommended.

I don't know about this being inside a tent as some of the advertisements show but, this is a nice heater for small to medium rooms. Works even better if you have a fan to help distribute the heat around. As for using this heater in a campout situation, be responsible, safety first!

With the price of the green bottles at $5.00-6.00 , you are paying this for 4 hours of heat , then it goes out just before the coldest part of the night .

This does not play mp3s or change colors. It's doesn't keep cokes cold or indicate when it's lonely... so I just used it as a heater which worked great, but.... come on?! It didn't even come with a prize or a toy.

I took a chance camping at 7000 feet in mid October. I am a fair weather camper usually. We have nice sleeping bags but getting up in the morning was going to be difficult. This heater is a game changer. I only use it in the evening if we decide to stay up late in the tent playing cards, and first thing in the morning when we are getting dressed. Seconds after starting it, the tent is wonderfully warm. I paired it it with a small hanging tent fan to circulate the warm air downward. I am very careful with it because I am paranoid and the surface gets hot. You definitely don't want to knock it over and ruin a tent wall or floor. I actually built a wooden base that holds the heater base to make the whole unit even sturdier. I feel confident that the carbon monoxide sensor will keep us safe. I foresee many more colder weather tent camping trips in my future because of this heater. One suggestion I have is that it needs space around it so it probably should be used in a larger tent. I have a six person tent for two people so there is plenty of extra room for the heater.

This little buddy heater is just the right size to quickly and efficiently heat up the 4wd Overlanding Vehicle. The safety features work well. Highly recommend.

puts out a lil bit of heat

It puts off plenty of heat for small spaces or just warning up! I also love the built in ignition and the automatic shut off if/when it tips over!

This is our third Mr Buddy Heater over the past 15 years. Got this one to heat our small cargo trailer conversion. It works well. The only downside is that there is no thermostatic control like their other heaters. It's either on, or it's off.

Lasted far longer on one little 1lb propane bottle. Just enoigh to warm up tent and easy to light, turn off and move. I think the base could be a little sturdier for extra safety.
