It is not wide compared to a 40 foot wide barn roof. I installed it on the 22 foot long extension handle. I have a 3/12 slope roof. I climb a ladder and spray water up to the 18 foot peak. I use a garden sprayer to spray diluted Dawn onto the moistened roof. Then I use this brush and the handle to go up and down 4 times. The bristles work the grime loose from the panels and screw heads. Then I use the water hose to rinse the loosened grime down to the gutter. I work on 5 panels as a block. Each panel has 4 flats. The brush does 1 flat at a time. Then I shorten the handle and brush the next 5 feet. It is best to select a cloudy day to retard evaporation/drying before the final rinse.

Very soft and high quality

I thought this thing feel cheap and that I would be ripped off. Let me tell you think thing is extremely robust. I'm going to be using it to clean my vinyl siding and I'm very pleased.

We use this to wash our class A RV and it works well while being nice and soft so it doesn't scratch the paint. Just be sure to rinse it well between each scrub and change the water in your bucket if it gets too dirty.Quite pleased.
