I used them as tent poles to set up a sun screen on our RV, worked like a charm! They are way sturdier than regular tent poles and are infinitely adjustable for height. ANDthey are cheaper!

The thread-in is riveted in place.You would have to drill out if ever needing to be replaced or modify.

I broke one of these on a job it was older and had finally bent . I purchased this one on here used this was the first time I had purchased used on here and was quite skeptical. However it arrived in great condition and is working well.

Stronger and cheaper than buying an adjustable tent pole. Have these supporting a shade cloth on my pontoon boat.

It's fairly lightweight and the attachment device is secure. The user does have to ensure telescopic tightening ring is tight enough ... it slips if isn't. Overall, this is the same quality found in the home improvement stores at less than half the price.

I bought separately a brush head to wash the car with and this pole to attach the brush head to. This pole is sturdy and well-made. Excellent purchase!

Got these for tarp camping. the sturdiness of other camping poles is nothing compared to these. I figured adjustable poles meant for work task would have the strength to hold a taut tarp in snow loads. And boy sure think these will. Very light weight and easy to use, they twist very tight also, first time adjusting it i tighten it so tight quite easily that a it took the power of Conan to undo it

This is the pole design to get. Very sturdy - may weigh a bit more than some of the aluminum pole designs that use the lever tightening systems (which MAY be prone to breaking - I don't know since I haven't owned them), but these things will last. Awesome value!
