Community outreach services is a multifacited program. Program components are designed to go beyond charity to foster social change and build self-reliances. Services provided include food and clothing pantry, rent and utility assistance, transitional living, youth leadership initiatives, information and ref.

the mt carmel development corporation is the "managing agent" of the wilhelmina gill multi-service center. Services provided include provision of a one stop wrap-around shop for homeless/low-income persons to receive social service support. Other services provided include stop gap food pantry, personal hygiene items for personal grooming, employment assistance, strength-based case management, telephone voice-mail, personal mail boxes to receive mail, free hot lunch, emergency assistance ref.
