This review is for the bag only, as we used our local garbage collection service and not Waste Management. We used it to dispose of water-damaged items after a recent storm. The bag does hold a lot. We had waterlogged books, a ruined cabinet, and a bunch of other items. I don't think we approached 3000 lb., but there was a lot, and it held without problem. For us, it was a more economical alternative to renting a conventional dumpster. Obviously be sure you have the bag situated properly before you fill it; follow your disposal company's instructions about placement and filling before you start.

I bought a fixer-upper house right when Covid started, so I've been doing a lot of remodeling myself. I've had 3 bags picked up so far and I just bought a couple more. I leave these about 3 ft off the road along the edge of my yard. If you have multiple bags picked up at once they give a discount, and usually email another discount code after pickup to use on your next bag purchase.What goes in the bag? First, check your local ordinances before you set it out. In my area we're not allowed to use the bagster for any type of organic/yard waste. I used it for a bunch of concrete step stones, bricks, wood (deck teardown) and pool tear down. You can find a few good videos on youtube showing how to stack things to get the best results.Biggest problem, pickers. Each time I put out a bag people come by and start to pick through as though they're gonna find a golden ticket. Even when it's just a bag of rocks. I have had to re-pack a couple times after pickers threw a bunch of it on the lawn while I was waiting for the pickup to come. If you know you'll be able to fill the bag in one day, you might want to schedule the pickup before you start filling, as it takes anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks for them to get out and pick up the bag.

The process worked well. Bought the bag, filled the bag, scheduled and paid for pickup by Waste Management, and they picked it up. Be aware that it will be tough, if not impossible, to move once you start filling it.

I used one of these to remove an old sidewalk from my backyard. Heavy concrete. Pickup was easy. They came at 7:30am before I was even awake and hauled it away, no interaction required. Unfortunately pickup service is a bit pricey. If you need only need one or two you're golden. Start getting into 3 and a regular dumpster would probably be more cost effective. As far as a bag goes though, if you're in need of a giant bag for some reason other than waste disposal, I can't imagine finding a similarly durable option of this size for the price.

This bag is awesome. Flood damage items and garage spring clean. This bag can hold it.

I have no idea how much in terms of weight I put in these bags. But, I can say they were filled with old, heavy refuse from our garage. They held together just fine when Waste Management came for the pick up. What more could I ask.

The bag seems great. It holds a decent amount of stuff but not a ton. It's very sturdy. And it's not heavy obviously until full. But come time when you call them to pick up their bag their website says that they'd pick up within 3 business days of scheduling. So that was scheduled for a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Thursday rolls around and no pickup. I call and they say they'd call dispatch. I received a call back and was told they'd come...

Beats having to buy this at home depot because of my busy schedule. It was easy to throw things in here and schedule the pick up with waste management. I just wish it could be bigger so i can throw more junk away

The bag was fine. Bagster service however, is terrible. Nothing but delays after scheduling a pickup. Ended up having a local company come out and get bag - same day I called them. Will never consider using Bagster service again. Buyer beware.

These bags arrive by mail, and are easy to set up. They come with instructions about what you can and cannot put in them. They are a little floppy at first, of course, but as we piled up our junk (we had a lot of junk), the bags were sturdy and our junk was secure for the pick-up.I couldn't believe how fast and easy the pick-up was, and the driver was super nice.Note: For pick-up, bags need to be near the street and away from power lines. Don't make the mistake we made of filling the bags in our driveway before realizing our power lines would be a problem. Even so - it was relatively easy to unload most of the bags, drag them to a better spot, and refill them.

Was worried they wouldn't be able to reach the bag from the street, but they had no problem at all! Very satisfied. Waste Management showed up on the day I requested. Between this bag and the pick up fees/taxes, paid about $200 total.

This is a great alternative to having a dumpster in your driveway. Comes in a very small package but unfolds into a reasonable sized dumpster. The rules of how to unfold and where to place it are clear and WM comes within 3 days of your request for pickup, in my case it was 2 days.
