Mission: The mission of My Body and Soul is to give HOPE to our clients by extending love, providing them with free basic care items, and offering a place share their burdens and renew their spirits. The mission of our First Priority Housing division is to change lives by providing adequate, affordable, and available homes to extremely low income renters at a cost burden significantly lower than average. www. fphousing. org

Results: We are currently serving about 500 families representing about 2,000 people and we are barely scratching the surface of the need. Our goal is to expand our service to multiple locations so as to help more people.

Programs: We provide our clients with free basic care items and baby care items that are not eligible for purchase with nutrition assistance funds and a place to share their burdens and renew their spirits. We also coordinate special seasonal projects for our clients such as free school supplies and backpacks in August and holiday assistance in December for approximately 800 children. We are now also working to address the severe shortage of housing available to extremely low income individuals and families.
