Mission: Our mission is to facilitate the timely diagnosis and optimal care of individuals affected by myasthenia gravis and to improve their lives through programs of patient services, public awareness, medical research, professional education, advocacy, and patient care.

Results: Each year we provide those who struggle with this rare disease with face to face support, financial support, education, plus fund research for a cure.

Target demographics: myasthenia gravis patients and their families

Direct beneficiaries per year: 400 people with face to face support, 12 people with financial support, 1200 with education and information, plus funded research for a cure.

Geographic areas served: Illinois, Indiana, and nearby locales

Programs: patient seminars, support groups, telephone help line, website, YouTube videos, newletters, patient advocacy, MG awareness raising, a Patient Assistance Program (for financially needy MG patients who live in IL, IN or WI with the cost of medical care), and funding of MG research.
