Love this. Was just going to buy a Bluetooth speaker but my boss had this and loves it so I figured I'd try it. Love it. Still playing around with it.

I found the Echo Dot easy to set up and use. I like to listen to music and I have found the quality of sound to be very good. I may purchase another one to use in an alternate room.

I got it for my mother who has vision issues and couldn't see or do simple things. When she got this it helped her so much and has helped her get some independence now. She can message and call me. I have set alarms for her meds and other things. It is useful for our situation really happy with it.We did change her name to Echo and it has had trouble responding since we did that but not enough for us to be too bothered.

It's not a human but very suprised with this things ability to pick things up from anywhere in the apartments. My 3 year old is able to request music without my help. I've showing been replacing habits I had like checking my phone for the weather, setting timers, alarms and reminders. I'd say overall for the price amd function, it was a more useful than I thought

If you have a device which can respond to Alexa commands but just lacks the audio input/output capabilities, this is a good way to go. I use this to control the Denon stereo for my aged father.
