This thing saved us! Our alternator stopped working on the interstate and our battery died. This thing (not sure if it is recommended) got our SUV started and kept us running for over 2 miles to get us safely off the interstate and to a hotel.

Works great jump starting my F250 with 6.0 diesel

Not that I recommend this but to let you know how amazing this product is...I went to jump start my car. I hadn't charged this for over a year. started the car right away. as soon as I unhooked it the car died. I learned right then that my alternator was dead. end of story, no. I'm a stubborn Marine who can't wait for a tow truck in rush hour with a dead car in the middle of a 4 lane road. I left this jump box attached to the car battery and actually drove home. 5 stop lights and 20mph neighborhood about a 4 mile drive. this box still had some charge after all that. I was so excited I got home safely and this device got me through that ordeal!!!

Charge it up and put it in your vehicle. Maybe you will need it for your vehicle if the battery goes dead but probably more for helping someone else out. Every emergency kit in your vehicle should include water, food items, blankets, shovels and a jump starter box. Just remember to check the charging level periodically.
