I was recommended to this product from my mechanic. I was always carrying his heavy duty jumper. It's already paid for itself. I had a shuttle van that needed to be up and running. My driver could not jump it with his truck but I was able to jump it with this unit. Totally worth it.

I use it for car battery

I bought this jump-starter because I was having battery issues with a fairly new car. This little beast got me out of a lot of jams. It's powerful, and so much better than the lead-acid battery jump-starters out there. The lead acid battery loses their charge quickly, where this held a charge for nearly a year. (as far as I tested it). The lead-acid is also useless in very cold weather. The GB70 doesn't care what the temperature is. Unfortunately, it failed to take a charge after about 20 months which was beyond the one year warranty. However, upon contacting the company, they practiced excellent customer service by providing a replacement at a 35 discount off of their already 20 discounted sale price on the site. I took advantage of the offer and saved over $100 on the replacement. Many companies would flip their thumb at you, but Noco made a concerted effort to regain my loyalty. Hopefully, this unit will not undergo the same misfortune.

You charge this thing via a mini USB? It's 2023, they need to update these to USB-C for faster charging. Unless I missing something.

Tried it on a few batteries, one of which was completely drained. Vehicle(s) fired right up; in the cold.

It is too soon to talk about how durable or how long it will last. I have had a GB-40 for a couple years and it has worked very well and I am totally satisfied. I bought the GB-70 as I wanted more reserve power and a dedicated 12V outlet for power as well. Since I have not had it that long, it is hard to give a review right now other than it currently works as advertised. Only time will prove longevity.

IT has worked well on my 5.9 diesel engine. It has started it when batteries have ran dead I've had others that say they can start my 5.9 diesel engine but they would not
