I put this on my boat to have a place where I could plug in power to charge/maintain my starter battery Now I have a place where I can plug in the power cord w/o having to get in the boat. I have a similar plug in for my trolling motor batteries and electronics setup.

Good quality product, however if it's designated for marine use and 90 of the worlds boats are white, why is it black. As you can see from my pictures in black it stands out and looks awful. So off to the workshop and a few coats of white paint. I first used Kylon Fusion which is supposed to be ideal for pvc plastic, totally useless the paint was chipping off after just one day, stripped it all off and used a $1.30 Lowes cheapo spray paint and that worked fine. Unfortunately the rubber bung that seals the hole when not in use is rubber and no paint will stay on rubber, so had to take it all off that bit and now it's two tone and looks fine. Didn't have the latest picture to post but will do shortly. Come on Noco produce it in white as well as black

Good product, ask for a new weather cover because fog chewed mine off. Service department said it was all built together and wouldn't sell me just the cover. Had to buy the whole thing. It's not built together. Service department don't know what they talking about

I use these to get power into sheds I have, better solution than many others I have found if you only need 15-20 amps (lighting and battery charging).These keep rodents at bay, easy install and are perfect to get power into outdoor buildings and enclosed trailersjust drill a 2 inch hole and install, run extension cord, weathertight and no holes for insects or rodents.price is right!I bought 5 of them!

Bought this to be able to keep my battery charged as I am now working from home and rarely need to drive. I have an old Noco charger already but I wanted something I can mount in my rig without having to pop my hood to charge. Likewise if I need to use the vehicle I don't have to open the hood and remove the charger. This unit allows me to install in the engine bay. Paired with the GCP1 mounted in my grill all I have to do is plug and unplug and off I go.

Very easy to install. Avoids having a power cord hanging out of your grill, or having to open you hood everytime you want to plug in. Weatherproof while new. I'll have to see how it handles a few seasons

I have 3. All have worked as expected. Note: I wish the kit had an inside grommet included. All of mine went through a metal wall and for safety sake I made a grommet out of rubber ring material to protect the electric cord from being cut. 5 star product.

The only labor involved was cutting the hole. Almost a simple plug and play. Perfect for my onboard two bank battery charger. Simply lift the water proof cap, plug in the extension cord, and you are charging. Super easy.
