Makes life a little easier when it come to recharging batteries on a boat. No longer have to climb in the boat, unlock the compartment, find the plug, charge the batteries and reverse the procedure. Just pull a cord to the boat and plug it up. Very easy to install the plug. Just find the spot you want to install it, drill a 2 hole, install the plug and attach with screws which are self tapping. Advise drill pilot holes for the screws much easier to screw them in on an aluminum boat.

Well built, looks and works great. Only nit I have is that I replaced the steel mounting screws that came tin the unit with stainless (mounted on my boat used in salt water). Recommended!

Just what I wanted and easy to install. It came with everything I needed except the 2 drill bit...... Now I dont need to take my cover off to charge the batteries

Purchased and mounted on my bulldozer battery box compartment to which the onboard battery charger/maintainer is plugged into on the other side. Works flawlessly from a good heavy extension cord from wall receptacle to bulldozer power inlet. Nothing to roll up and put away on the dozer itself.

Instructions say to drill a 2 hole, which I did but due to the way the cord attaches on the back side still didnt work. Had to put a pretty big notch in the interior paneling to clear the cord. Would have been 5 stars if not for that issue. Just what I was looking for and works great other than installation issue.

Product as described. Easy to install. Added it to my work trailer, cut off the plug end, put it in a j-box, attached to Romex, and wired up interior with outlets and lights. The waterproof plug cover is exceptional as well. Would recommend.

Bought this to install on my Aluminum enclosed snowmobile trailer. I installed it on the left front of the V nose because that is where the Diamond plate was. Located there because the screws would have more purchase power.Two inch hole saw did the trick . Had to go thru the outer skin ,then the inner wood. Because the outlet pigtail is offset I had to cut a 1/2 inch Notch so the whole receptacle would slot right in.Finished the job with plastic wood to seal off the inside circumference .The receptacle is well built and am especially pleased with the quality of the rubber cap . Looks like it will seal out salt quite well and we shall see about the durability and corrosion resistance of the metal blades .Some of these receptacles come with two pigtails and that's good but I just use a three way adapter and good to go there .Hope this helps.

Great item professionally packagedI was surprise how it was originally packaged, so nice with good quality materials.Maybe the boxes cost more than item itself lolBut very please for sureI needed to buy the 2 inch metal round thing about 13$ in lowes.Plus luckily I have the drill and small bitsMake sure drill very tiny so screws can get in, other than that will be loose.I will buy it again for other diesel truck as works great for winter times.Don't plug it in for days as you electric bill will be highOnly when really using truck every day.

Used to plug in my block heater on my diesel truck and it's way easier than fishing out the short cord. Installation is so simple to drill one hole a run 3 screws.

After years of opening and closing the hatch to plug the charger in, this makes life much easier. A must on all boat with a charger.

Working good so far. I paired it with the NOCO Genius 2D. Installation took about 25 minutes total. I'll update if I run into any issues others have mentioned.
