Used it to plug my duramax in on cold nights. No searching for dangling cords. I would recommend getting the one that has two cord option so I could add a battery maintainer. (Afterthought).

I added this to my snowmobile trailer for this late night repairs need to be able to ride the next day. It works great to add a extra heater or work light to work on a sled without running a power cord from a cabin or generator through one of the doors.

If you want to add Voltage,to you enclosed trailer.These are excellent. Installation is easy with a 2.0 in hole saw.Check You tube.plenty of videos.

I have several of these on enclosed trailers. You will need a hole saw to drill a whole for the item. Once installed I have a nice, weathertight 115v pass through connection. Mine have weathered well and are still in perfect condition. I did use silicone in addition to the gasket just for extra assurance.

Came in impressive/fancy packaging, I am using for my chest freezer in the garage incase power goes out, have it installed next to acess door in house so I can hook up to my through-the-wall transfer switch which is upstairs. The supplied screws I did use but pretty sure I will have to install wall anchors, probably after first use. Almost guaranteed to pull out of the wall when unplugging extension cord. Great addition for through-the-wall emergency use when power goes out.
