This is the second one we have purchased and installed on our boats. They work great. Convenient and water tight. Looks great like factory. The hardest part is drilling out the hole but that is the boat, not the plug in. Would purchase again.

Drill a two-inch hole with a hole saw, insert the device through the hole, and screw it in place. Seemed simple enough. It's an extremely well-built little port plug, for sure, and the price is certainly more than fair. Installation, as in all things, is not always quite so straightforward. It took a little creative woodworking on the interior of the trailer it was being installed on, and I had to carve a little clearance for that cord on the back of the plug as my trailer walls were a bit thicker than the plug was designed for... but all's well that ends well, and it certainly turned out nicely in the end. The product is GREAT though... I don't think you can do better.

Item was used to run power out to rv power cord from a solar generator in storage compartment to keep dry and not run on ground outside

Easy to install. Unsure if self-tapping screws will remain tight, may have to change out for nut and bolts. It appears to be watertight. Had to mount it at a 90-degree turn due to a clearance issue with the cord on the inside. We used this on a fiberglass pickup truck topper.

This thing worked perfect for my NOCO maintainer that I installed in my Kawasaki Mule. Came with all the parts and pieces. Used a ROTOzip to cut the hole.

This product does exactly what it’s intended to do and does it well! Screws and gasket is included. Simply drill a 2” hole and drop it in! It hasn’t rained yet to test water resistance but I added some silicon around the edges just as insurance.

Great product. It was easy to install on my truck camper. Just needed to drill a 2 hole in the side of the camper shell. Shortly after the install I went camping. Heavy rain to the site and back, but the was no water leaking into the camper.

This was a simple install. I have a Noco 3 bank charger mounted inside my helm console. I mounted this unit on the outside of the console. Shore power plugs right in with no need to open the door to the console. Drill a 2” hole with a hole saw, attach the unit tight with the included self tapping screws. Plug it in to your charger. -5 minute job including cleanup.

I've only had this socket or a couple of weeks but so far it has been great! It was fairly easy to install although fiberglass can be a little more challenging. The cap has a snug fit and doesn't flop open on its own. Appears to be well made.
