The part is fine the large end was a little large/loose so I had to use part of the old one to tighten things up. This one did not include a new clamp, so keel your old ones.

I needed a 12 ft. Drain hose so I ordered 2 of these. The ends of the 2 hoses are not the same and one of them would not fit the dishwasher. In my case it didn't matter because i was connecting them together but if i had only ordered one it may have come with an end that would not fit.

My Bosch dishwasher is located a good distance from my sink. This hose made it easy to extend the hose enough to attach to my garbage disposal drain.

This worked for what I needed it for but found that drain end connection to garbage diposal drain end fit very loose. I compared it to the older one and confirmed that the end was much thinner stock that would not form a tight seal even with the ring clamp. I ended having to remove the end from the old hose and managed to wedge it into the new hose and was then able to make a water tight fit. Overall, very happy with it...just wanted to mention my issue as a heads up.

MakeSure you use a hose clampThe grey part didn't fit as snug as the one I had from 1980. My bf put hose clamp on and it is snug as a bug in a rug - perfect for those who had kenmore back in sears hay days and went to whirlPool

I had tried a generic rubber hose, but it was not at all suitable for the Amana, with it's built in rubber coupler. This hose has rigid plastic at the dishwasher end that fits snugly into the washer's coupler. The other end is pliable and could be clamped to the air gap with no trouble. I've been using this hose for a few weeks now with no issues.
