Mission: works to advance education, nutrition & health and economic development, through community-led initiatives which build on existing resources and knowledge in the Lake Atitlán region of Guatemala.

Results: Natün Guatemala works in the Lake Atitlán region of Guatemala to implement community-led programs that address systemic barriers and build cultural strength and resilience. Our work is driven by the expertise of Mayan staff and community leaders towards long-term, meaningful change in the areas of education, nutrition & health, and economic development. Natün Guatemala, a registered US 501(c)3 organization in the US, works in partnership with our legally-registered Guatemalan partner association to implement our programs on the ground. Our work reaches over 15,000 individuals every year. We provide high-quality early childhood education to over 120 students, we provide scholarships to over 1000 Indigenous students, bring excellent tutoring to over 100 students, currently provide intensive malnutrition treatment to 88 infants and toddlers, work with 100 artisans to develop and market their traditional handmade art (increasing their income by over $800/year).
