Mission: The National Marine Life Center rehabilitates and releases stranded marine mammals and sea turtles in order to advance science and education in marine wildlife health and conservation.
Results: To date, we have cared for 160 endangered sea turtles, 152 protected seals, and 164 endangered terrestrial and aquatic turtles. We have reached over 95,300 people through our education and outreach program. We have welcomed over 130,800 people to our educational visitors center. We have provided hands-on, experiential learning opportunities to over 450 student interns.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 114 marine animals; 11,380 participants in education programs; 9,092 visitors to our educational center; 27 student interns; 115 volunteers contributing 20,427 hours
