Mission: The National Scleroderma Foundation is the national organization for people living with scleroderma. The Foundation was established in 1998 to advance medical research, promote disease awareness, and provide support and education to people with scleroderma, their families and support network. The Foundation helps people cope with scleroderma through mutual peer support programs, physician referrals, and educational information. The Foundation also promotes public awareness and education through patient and health professional seminars, literature, and publicity campaigns. The Foundation also stimulates and supports research to improve treatment and ultimately find a cure for scleroderma. (Less)
