To create Native Forest organic coconut milk, they simply press the meat of the fresh coconuts to yield an oil-rich extract, and then add only pure, filtered water. No guar or other additives.
Coconut milk is highly nutritious and rich in vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6 and minerals including iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorous. Unlike cow's milk, coconut milk is lactose-free so it can be enjoyed by those with lactose intolerance. I like the taste of this milk, but I wish it wouldn't separate so easily. I usually need to warm it up to get it to mix. Otherwise is is separated into the cream and water.
