They work for me! I first thought these bags were scented, then discovered it was just that I'd bought a box that got contaminated from something else along its route to me. The bags smelled scented, so sensitive people can buy them from somewhere they're least likely to have been stored for long periods near toxic scented products. The rest of the bags I got like this from Natural Value were/are fine (just faintly smell a bit like plastic). I buy all eco-friendly products, and these hold up fine, esp. in comparison to biodegradable bags (which tend to break down too quickly for me because I often use for storage). I wish we didn't put plastic in the environment, but we can at least choose more responsible companies making better products. Progress is possible. Perfection? Maybe someday.
