Mission: NeighborLink Indianapolis is a small 501(c)3 that serves Marion County Indiana. Our mission is simple, help senior homeowners in need and individuals with disabilities age in place safely and with dignity by providing home repairs at no cost to those homeowners.

Results: NeighborLink Indianapolis home repair program is an innovative approach to community based and volunteer-run assistance to our most vulnerable senior citizens. It addresses home repair and modifications for low-income seniors aging in place, a well-documented desire of an overwhelming majority of seniors that greatly benefits their quality of life. NeighborLink fills a unique niche between government programs and private assistance when financial and family resources do not exist. It engages the community, and leverages existing programs and aid agencies for helping seniors. The approach brings together those who want to help, with those who need help. Neighbor to neighbor, if you will. Since NeighborLink's incorporation in late 2013 we have completed more than 2000 home repair requests for low-income senior homeowners and individuals with disabilities. In 2018 we had more than 1200 requests for help and completed 400 of those, as well as finding help for another 400 through partner agencies.
