Nevada Humane Society is a non-profit, charitable, no-kill shelter creating a no-kill community. NHS works to find homes and provide care for homeless animals. Our work is made possible by donations.

Target demographics: care for pets, find them homes and save lives

Direct beneficiaries per year: Last year Nevada Humane Society helped more than 16,000 animals in our community.

Geographic areas served: Reno and Carson City, Nevada

Programs: As the only open-admission, no-kill shelter in Nevada, Nevada Humane Society is proud to offer shelter care and adoptions, a free Animal Help Desk Program and Low-Cost Spay/Neuter and low-cost vaccine programs, Pet Food Assistance Program, Foster Program and Volunteer Program.
