Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals

Mission: Our Adoption Center opened in 2013, and we’re thrilled to be a part of this amazing animal-loving community. Our colorful, state-of-the-art Adoption Center features two free-roam cat rooms and a condo room (not cages) dedicated to cats who enjoy things a bit quieter. Come by and check us out - it’s a great place to learn, play, and get some free purrs and cuddles!

Target demographics: Cats

Geographic areas served: Oakland County

Programs: We have a simple motto here - cats rule. We focus all of our time, energy, and resources into what is best for the cats in our care. New Beginnings Animal Rescue is a No-Kill, 501(c)(3) Exempt, Non-Profit cat rescue. We started this rescue back in 2010 because we wanted to do more for our community and the animals in it. During the great economic collapse, we started a pet food pantry to help pets stay with their owners. But for those cats who could not stay with their families, we found fosters to take care of them until adopters came along and gave them new, forever homes. We opened our Adoption Center in 2013 and have become a gathering place for animal lovers to share stories, educate one another, make a difference in their community, learn responsibility and compassion, and to cater to every whim and deserve of the felines who reside in it. We are completely run by volunteers, funded by donations, and powered by cat hair.
