Mission: To give "new life" to empty homes by providing furniture to thosepeople overcoming homelessness and living in extreme poverty.
Results: New Life Furniture Bank served 147 households in 2009, and we have increased our furniture deliveries each year since. We delivered furniture to 1.071 households in 2020.
Target demographics: We serve people who have overcome homelessness, fled and abusive situation or have had a life catastrophe, like a fire or flood.
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2020, we delivered furnishings (18-24 pieces) to 1,071 households.
Geographic areas served: Clermont, Hamilton, Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties.
Programs: We have one core, mission-focused program, which is to collect donations of gently used, basic household furniture (mattresses/beds, dressers, tables, chairs, sofas, and lamps) and deliver them to families living in bare or sparsely furnished housing. We restore dignity to those who have lost everything. Children and adults who were sleeping on hard, bare floors now sleep in warm, safe beds.
