I’ve used niterider off/on for 20 years. I’ve also used other off brands. The niterider is obviously an investment compared to the off-brands. The reliability, capabilities, and brightness of Niterider FAR outweighs the others. Reliability is key here...reduce the brightness and extend the time the lighting is available. Some of the off brands I’ve used just turn off (fun moments). Also, carrying extra/spare batteries is the norm with the other brands. NR will always work and will last a very long time.

Niterider is an excellent company in general and their products super high quality. I have been using NR lights for the last 15 years and have had a a good cross section of their products, and have loved all of them. The 2800 is no exception. This is a great light and well built. I have used it for the last two months and it has worked flawlessly. I run this on my bars and a Lumina 950 on the helmet and with this combo I can light up the forest. 5 star all the way.
