I bought this light and bought the helmet mount for it, everything was working and then one went to charge it and it would not take a charge. The button normally illuminates when charging, on this it did not, just went dead! Did not even last a season, very unhappy!

If you are wondering which version of this light to get, 350-1100, let me say that on fairly dark wooded country roads where I live - with rare street lights and only the occasional light from a local house, and not much atmospheric glow from a nearby city - on the high setting this light puts out enough light to where I feel like I can safely ride at a decent speed on the road. I've ridden with someone who had I believe the 750, and it was brighter, but not nearly twice as bright as you might think. This light works so well in fact, I usually just use it on the low or medium setting. Why would you want something brighter? First, if you are a serious endurance rider who does a lot of long night rides, you may want to get a more powerful one so you can ride for long hours, often at a lower setting, without worrying about conserving the battery. If you have long commutes in the dark, maybe both ways, and can't always charge the battery, you may want a brighter one for the same reason as above. If you're an XCM mountain bike rider who rides fast through intricate deep woods, you probably do want to go with the 750 or higher. For everyone else, this light, or maybe even the 350, would do fine. I should also note this light is very adjustable in it's angle, which is really nice. And I love the USB charging. There are also smaller lights out there, if that is important to you.

Not good for mountain biking because it moves on the handlebar when riding over bumps.

I own both the Lumina 450 and the Lumina 350. You would think there would be a slight difference in brightness seeing that the lumens increase but having tested both after fully charging them, in a dark room. I almost feel like the 350 is brighter. Not sure if I got a defect or if it's all a marketing gimmick... Either way, plenty of light for your average night time riding in the city and likely enough for the suburbs as well. Battery is not bad for the amount of brightness. One thing that occurs a lot is that you will need to 34;reset34; the light every other ride as it will not turn on. Simply hold the power button for like 10 seconds and then you're good to go. If the Lumina 350 is cheaper, stick to the 350.

I love the lockout feature for when you put it in a backpack. If I were to go back on this purchase I might get one or two steps up in Lumen's but for 450 this is a good bang for the buck.

Light works great nice and bright only down side I can find is that the charge cable that comes with the light is the only one that I have that works not a huge deal but still worth mentioning.

Use it on my helmet with a helmet mount. It is a good addition to my handlebar mounted light. Gives off a good amount of light. Battery seems to have good life. At first it seemed a bit heavy for my helmet, but I got used to it. I would like to try a lighter weight light but would not want to give up the lumens for weight.

Great and bright light. The brightest setting (450 lumens) is bright enough to ride at night and be able to see the road. I have the 950 boost and keep it dimmed most of the time to about the 450 setting. The 950 is nicer with more battery life, however I keep the 450 on my bike every day commuting. The mounting harness attaches well and doesn't move with even the biggest of bumps. However the light can be moved up and down with your hand while riding if you need to micro adjust the beam direction. The micro usb charge is the only way to go for me. That is what both of these lights are, my headlamp, my flashlights, bluetooth speakers, and many other things. If only a large phone company could get on board. Im super happy I bought this one to compliment my 950. Having two mounting brackets is super great too!

I was only able to charge it twice before it stopped taking a charge. When trying to charge you can see that it is connected to the charger because a red light illuminates the on/off button unfortunately the red light does not mean anything except it is not working. I liked the mount better than my metro bike lights but after trying to charge it multiple time I've given up.

Perfect as a helmet light (I have the 950 for my bars) due to it's smaller, more lightweight size. Follows the reputation of NiteRider well - durable, easy to use, and bright.

very nice with lots of good features, easy to mount and very bright. Dropped it and broke a tab on the slide mount. Emailed NiteRider and they had a replacement part to me in the mail 2 days later. Amazing customer service.

I'm very satisfied with this light. I bought a helmet mount and wear it on my helmet. The light has three settings. I find I usually end up using the brightest, which is too bright for on-coming bicycle or pedestrian traffic but by wearing it on my helmet, I can dip my head a bit to the right so direct the glare away from their eyes. I also have a 350 and 150 mounted low on my under-seat handlebars. The 150 is really too dim, almost useless except to be seen. These lights are very well-made and I recommend them. I would recommend 350 and up and suggest mounting them on a helmet so that you have control as described above.
